Dogs have always been a part of my life. As a child I had a wire-haired foxterrier and for short periods a borzoi, a boxer and a Saint Bernard. Later on I acquied my first dalmatian. I took a puppy from the first dalmatian litter in Slovakia. It was only a pet dog. When I got married, me and my husband found our foundation bitch in Luxemburg, Y’Cream Caka dell Amena Contrada from English parents. At that time it was not easy for us to have contacts with breeders abroad. Mrs. Annie Huismann helped us with an outstanding male Arnoudt van Huis Dalmatho who became our first champion. We started breeding dalmatian under the kennel name Plum Pudding and we bred some succesful dogs which became champions and club winners in many countries. Our last dalmatian litter was born in 1995. In 2004 I took a smooth-haired foxterrier bitch Ch. Utopia Lemart. A short while ago we had our first litter after Ch. Belfox Emperor.
In the 1970s we were very active in our hobby, with several friends we started a special club for sighhounds and dalmatians, held shows and took part in racing and coursing. I have been member of the Slovak Dalmatian Club committee and for about 20 years´ I am the superwiser for breeding´. I am member of the FCI show and judge commissions.
My judging carrier commenced in1977 and I am licenced for group ten, four, and some breeds from groups two, five, six and seven. I have judged at Eurodog Bratislava and Budapest, Winner Amsterdam, Bundessieger in Germany and Austria, specialties in many countries in Europe including Skokloster (Sweden), Donau Echingen (Germany) and Moscow.
Last year 2008 I judged Sighound specialty in Montechiari (Italy), (Danmark), Helsinki (Finland), Budapest (Hungary).
